Meeting & Event Coordinator

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Event & Customer Service Specialist to join our Events Program Services team. This role serves as a primary point of contact for our meeting and event program, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting a best-in-class Global Travel and Events organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for meeting and event requests, conducting discovery calls and providing consultative support
- Guide customers through processes, policies, and procedures while ensuring alignment between service scope and expectations
- Coordinate with Amazon Meetings and Events Team Members to address inquiries and resolve requests per established SLAs
- Source and secure appropriate meeting spaces for event organizers
- Maintain customer-facing resources including knowledge bases, FAQs, and support documentation
- Manage daily labor requests and respond to inbound customer inquiries
- Support development and delivery of communications, surveys, and marketing materials
- Facilitate outreach, educational, and training activities
- Support Global Travel and Events strategy as part of the central meetings & events team
Basic Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in meeting & events and/or hospitality industry
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Demonstrated experience with common Meeting Management systems and tools
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Meeting and Event technology tools
- Third-party vendor/agency experience with direct customer interface
- International meeting & event experience
