Permanent role (AWS Guaranteed + Variable Performance Bonus)
Responsibilities
Coordinate with destination and customer for shipping instruction
Booking of flights with procurement team.
Arrange shipments collection with customers and Traffic Team
Basic knowledge on cargo commodity as per IATA rules and regulation
Track and monitor shipments status and inform customer accordingly
Maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Handle all customers' enquiries timely and effectively
Work closely with internal operations to meet customer’s requirements
Ensure compliance with customer’s Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure all data are updated correctly in system
Interface with multiple parties including customer, warehouse, carriers, customs, etc on shipment requirements
Monitors progress to achieve month end targets
Work with billing team to close off jobs and issue invoice
Take charge of supplier’s invoice disputes
Take lead in issue resolutions
Implement improvements to enhance service capability within the team
All other ad-hoc work instructions from Supervisor / Manager
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent
At least 3 - 4 years of experience in Airfreight and familiar with export process
Good understanding of Incoterms 2010
Self-discipline, initiative, responsible and independent in a fast-paced environment
A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible / Adaptive to changes
Meticulous to details
