The team primarily focuses on application support activities for large domestic retail and hub systems. You'll have a great opportunity to be part of a large enterprise organization with exposure to a combination of industry standards and technologies on a global scale. This role provides a solid platform for your continued development.

As a Senior Application Support Specialist, you will work on various platforms, including Redhat Linux & Kubernetes-based services, supporting critical applications for the P&P Business. Experience with container solutions like Docker, Podman, or LXC, and a practical understanding of Kubernetes are required.

This position is suitable for someone with intermediate technical skills looking to grow into application support, who is eager to learn and has excellent communication skills to work well in a team.

What we are looking for:

• Redhat Linux OS or Application Support experience
• Kubernetes experience in a production environment
• Monitoring & Automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Splunk, Zabbix, Nagios)
• Working knowledge of Docker, Podman, or LXC
• Familiarity with networking concepts and firewalls

Meet the Team

Hello, my name is Charles, and I am the head of department for P&P CTS operations in Prague. I started my career with DHL Systems in 2000 as a Junior Systems Administrator in the UK, working in the global application support and operations team.

Since moving to Prague in 2004, I have been part of DHL IT Services, holding various technical and leadership roles. I've traveled extensively and met many talented people across our locations in Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Americas.

With strong support from diverse teams, we aim for service excellence, utilizing DevOps technologies and industry best practices. Looking forward to having you onboard
