Job Responsibilities Develop new products according to development requests and improve existing products. Develop application recipes to optimize product design for new and existing products. Monitor new trends and products in the market. Evaluate new ingredient submissions. Conduct food tasting and sensory evaluations. Maintain proper documentation to support costing, lab-scale formulation of new and existing products, and any supporting documents. Work closely with inter-departments on the development and launch of new or improved recipes. Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate superior. Job Requirements Recognized culinary qualification or similar discipline. At least 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in the restaurant, hotel business, or food manufacturing industry. Experience in different Asian cuisines, bakery, and Dim Sum would be beneficial for daily R&D work. Creative in food preparation and presentation. Meticulous with good organizational skills. Team player with good interpersonal skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Proficient in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) as daily liaison with Mandarin and English speaking associates is required.
