Job Title:
Business Analytics Professional
Key Responsibilities include: migrating legacy code and scripts into efficient, maintainable Python code, analysing existing code and scripts written in SAS/SQL languages, developing Python scripts to replicate or improve existing functionality, documenting code and processes clearly to support future maintenance, troubleshooting and debugging issues arising during migration, and delivering project milestones within the contract period.
Qualifications Required:
  • A minimum of a diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proven proficiency in Python programming & SQL is essential.
  • Good understanding of Starburst and SAS is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and data manipulation is necessary.
  • Ability to read and understand legacy code in SAS/SQL and translate logic into Python is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are vital.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
