Business Intelligence Analyst

The Data Analyst Co-op will be responsible for the maintenance of analytical solutions for our organization.

  • Maintain existing data assets and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of business intelligence visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
  • Maintain business requirements documentation, source to target mappings and other business analytics related documentation.
  • Maintain automated reporting on key performance metrics (KPIs) and scorecard metrics using business intelligence tools.
  • Support testing and validation of data assets.

This role is multi-faceted, involving collaboration across various regions.

What You Need To Succeed:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering or a related field.
  • Experience writing SQL queries to analyze data.
  • Experience with VBA and building excel macros.
  • Comfortable learning new applications and processes quickly with minimal direction.
  • Business analysis / visualization using MS Excel.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Able to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of Insurance or Financial Services industry.
  • Business visualization / dashboarding with Tableau.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
