The Rainbow Centre envisions a world where persons with disabilities are empowered, included and thriving in inclusive communities.
This vision is made possible through the provision of effective therapy and psychological services, allowing individuals to achieve their highest level of independence and live fulfilling lives.
We seek a highly skilled Associate Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team. Working closely under the supervision of a Senior or Principal Psychologist, this role will involve the delivery of quality psychological services across various settings at the Rainbow Centre.
Critical Work Functions:
- Clinical Services:
Assessment: Select, apply and interpret appropriate psychological assessment methods and tools for individuals and groups;
Intervention: Develop informed psychological formulations that consider relevant individual, systemic, cultural and biological factors;
Documentation: Organise and document essential case facts and observations clearly and coherently for client benefit; - Service Administration:
Data Management: Maintain and monitor client records related to service utilisation in accordance with organisational and professional requirements;
Resource Management: Ensure proper maintenance and inventory of equipment, materials and supplies;
Health & Safety: Adhere to health and safety policies and ensure safe storage and maintenance of equipment; - Continuing Professional Development:
Engage in reflective practice, including evaluating contemporary issues in the profession and sector;
Remain up to date and compliant with relevant legislation, organisational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct to uphold best practice standards;
Requirements:
- Honours Degree in Psychology (at least Second Class Upper);
- Preferably enrolled in Master's Programme in Educational/Clinical Psychology with a recognised university;
- Working experience in special education setting advantageous;
- Only Singaporeans and Permanent Residents eligible for consideration;
