Leadership Role in Early Childhood Education

This is a key leadership position within our preschool, reporting directly to the Principal. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving strategic direction and day-to-day operations.

  • The role involves contributing to curriculum design and professional development by offering expert guidance. This includes mentoring educators on pedagogy and teaching practices, ensuring the effective use of learning tools and resources.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the preschool.
  • Contribute to curriculum design and professional development.
  • Mentor educators on pedagogy and teaching practices.
  • Ensure effective use of learning tools and resources.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing parent engagement, community outreach, and talent development.
  • Oversight of resource management within the center, including staff scheduling, inventory oversight, and cost control for operational expenses.
  • Implementation and coordination of center-based programs, initiatives, and events.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE) or a Degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • A Diploma in Pre-school Education - Leadership (DPL) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Solid knowledge of ECDA regulations and the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
