Job Title:
Early Childhood Education Director

As an Early Childhood Education Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of early childhood educators in providing high-quality education and care to young children. This role involves facilitating positive relationships with parents and the community, as well as managing administrative tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of early childhood educators in providing quality education and care for young children.
  • Facilitate proactive and positive engagement with parents and the community.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and build trusted relationships.
  • Manage administrative tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Set educational standards and goals for the preschool.
  • Establish policies, procedures, and programs to achieve these goals.
  • Review and improve existing policies, procedures, and programs to enhance the overall standard of the preschool.
  • Actively promote enrollment for the preschool.

Requirements:
  • Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education or higher.
  • Hold a DPL/DECCE-L (Leadership) certification.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Familiarity with ECDA guidelines and requirements.
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience in a childcare center, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
