Technical Sales Representative
The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for developing relationships with customers and growing accounts in his/her assigned territory by promoting and selling the company's products (Cleanrooms, Disinfectants & Sporicides) and services to businesses and distributors. The individual will manage significant accounts and customers.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate new and expanded sales prospects and customer opportunities to achieve sales growth.
Routinely travel to visit new and existing customers and attend relevant trade shows.
Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.
Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests.
Partner with current customers to ascertain current needs/requirements and generate additional sales.
Conduct market research and identify target individuals and organizations.
Provide technical support to clients, emphasizing long-term relationships.
Promote and position key strategic product and service offerings.
Ensure the Sales Forecasting Tool is current and updated with accurate customer and sales information.
Routinely pull and reference system reports to identify additional sales opportunities and enhance the pipeline.
Develop sales activity plans to optimize sales activities and achieve target sales performance.
Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports, and assigned projects.
Remain up-to-date on new product development, technology, and service offerings.
Keep management and sales team members informed of all relevant activity.

The Ideal Candidate:
Experience:
The Technical Sales Representative position requires a minimum of three years of work experience.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who can work independently but also needs to be team-focused. Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills are necessary to help grow the company.
Education & Qualifications Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry or related field.
Minimum 3 years of successful technical sales experience.
Self-starter; motivated, and must be able to work independently while being team-focused and results-driven.
Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially with customers and senior management.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Access and internal sales tools.
Strong technical skills; able to present technical concepts; provide customers with hands-on techniques using our products.
The TSR is required to possess technical knowledge of all marketed products and services as well as satisfactory sales skills to engage in the sale of products and services.
