Job Title: "> BIM Implementation Specialist

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and overseeing the implementation of BIM technologies in engineering projects. They will ensure effective collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, streamline workflows, and enhance project efficiency through the use of BIM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement BIM strategies for assigned projects
  • Execute BIM implementation processes as per agreed plans
  • Coordinate the use of BIM software across projects
  • Facilitate communication between design, engineering, and construction teams
  • Ensure models are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with project specifications
  • Conduct regular BIM model reviews to identify and resolve coordination issues
  • Implement quality assurance processes for models and drawings
  • Conduct regular reviews and clash detection analyses
  • Track and report on BIM progress and identify potential issues
  • Train and support project team members on BIM workflows and software
  • Attend project meetings to provide updates and gather feedback

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering
  • At least 5 years of working experience in design engineering, construction engineering, or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) project management
  • 4 years of relevant BIM experience as a project-level BIM Coordinator role in a large-scale or infrastructure project
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Good negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Resourceful, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
