Responsibilities:
Provide maintenance and support for Customers' IT Network Services.
Perform break-fix which includes troubleshooting and problem identification for any network services.
Develop test cases and conduct proof of concept tests on new software and hardware prior to upgrade/deployment.
Perform the role of Project Lead / Coordinator in project management for small to medium size projects or Service Requests.
Work closely with Service Delivery Manager to fulfill deliverables, service report and operational request.
Establish TAC cases with the principal vendor for complex problem until it's resolved.
Mentor Tier 1 Engineers and conduct training to align the Engineers’ technical competency.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting large, complex networks comprises of 10 to 20 nodes.
Experience working with LAN/WAN/WLAN which includes:
Cisco Wireless, Routers, Catalyst and Nexus Switches, Firepower, IPS/IDS, ISE, ASA, ESA, WSA, SMA
Alcatel Wireless and OmniSwitch
Arista Switches and Cloudvision
Fortinet, Checkpoint, SolarWinds NPM/NCM/NTA, F5 LTM and Aruba ClearPass
Required to have a minimum of 3 – 5 years of hands-on network technical support experience in SI Environment.
Cisco and Arista certification is preferred.
Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data and Security networking in implementation, maintenance support, and break-fix.
Fast-paced environment
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Good communication and writing skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Able to work in 24 x 7 standby duties.
