Overview Senior / Lead UI UX Designer role at IDEMIA. This role provides design recommendations for the company\'s products and solutions based on the implementation of user-centric methods during the design and development process, enabling optimized user experiences. Responsibilities Gathers and evaluates user and ecosystem needs in collaboration with product managers and engineers. Conducts user interviews and tests, studies and evaluates how users feel about a system or concept (ease of use, perceived value, task efficiency, etc.). Translates user needs and business requirements into recommendations that inform features and functionalities. Develops process flows, wireframes, and mock-ups (hardware and software) to conceptualize, test, and communicate high-level design strategies. Identifies and troubleshoots UX problems to improve the existing system or concept. Promotes the user-centric approach and methodologies across the company\'s engineering teams and beyond. Manages several projects in parallel, end-to-end and autonomously. Presents and advocates the brief of a project to stakeholders, decision makers or product owners, explaining phases and costs and securing buy-in to kick-start projects. Holds experience and a comprehensive view of company processes and stakeholders to involve them adequately during collaboration and at key milestones. Adjusts methodology to the internal client context and requirements. Neutralizes biases during interviews, tests, and workshops to maximize the value of collected information. Qualifications Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects. Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture. Experience leading design teams or projects with a demonstrated ability to mentor others. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing creativity with practical implementation.
