Senior Social Worker Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our team.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting group work, casework, and community development initiatives that make a tangible difference in people's lives.

Your role will involve formulating intervention plans, evaluating progress, supervising facilitation of interventions, reviewing case notes, implementing care plans, and conducting needs assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct group work by developing and implementing intervention plans, monitoring progress, and supervising the facilitation of interventions.
  • Conduct casework by reviewing case files, implementing care plans, and conducting needs assessments.
  • Perform community development work by designing and implementing initiatives, monitoring progress, and mobilizing resources.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders across disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Possess a degree in social work or a degree with a graduate diploma in social work from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrate at least 5 years of relevant experience as a registered social worker.
