Our client is a fast-growing data centre developer and operator with a strong track record across Asia. As the business continues to scale, they are looking to hire a mid- to senior-level Legal Counsel to join their established legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal support on a broad range of matters including project development, construction (EPC), real estate, corporate transactions, and commercial contracts.
Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements including land acquisition, colocation leases, hyperscaler contracts, vendor and procurement agreements.
Advise business stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues relevant to data centre development and operations.
Support corporate governance and compliance initiatives.
Liaise with external counsel where necessary and work cross-functionally with internal teams including commercial, operations, finance, and development.
Requirements:
Qualified lawyer with 4 to 10 years of post-qualification experience.
Prior experience in data centre, infrastructure, real estate, construction, or energy sectors preferred.
In-house experience is advantageous, though strong law firm candidates will also be considered.
Strong commercial acumen, excellent drafting skills, and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.
A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
