Our client is a fast-growing data centre developer and operator with a strong track record across Asia. As the business continues to scale, they are looking to hire a mid- to senior-level Legal Counsel to join their established legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support on a broad range of matters including project development, construction (EPC), real estate, corporate transactions, and commercial contracts.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements including land acquisition, colocation leases, hyperscaler contracts, vendor and procurement agreements.
  • Advise business stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues relevant to data centre development and operations.
  • Support corporate governance and compliance initiatives.
  • Liaise with external counsel where necessary and work cross-functionally with internal teams including commercial, operations, finance, and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with 4 to 10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in data centre, infrastructure, real estate, construction, or energy sectors preferred.
  • In-house experience is advantageous, though strong law firm candidates will also be considered.
  • Strong commercial acumen, excellent drafting skills, and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
