Responsibility Conduct in-depth research on global logistics industry trends, forecasts, and risk factors, with a focus on Ocean Shipping and Airfreight sectors. Analyze and interpret market data to produce regular reports highlighting logistics trends and developments. Provide strategic market intelligence and insights to support management decisions and freight forwarding operations. Deliver market forecasts and competitive analysis to inform strategy formulation and business planning. Facilitate knowledge sharing by conducting training sessions and quarterly seminars for internal teams including leadership, procurement, and pricing functions. Participate in customer meetings alongside Commercial and Procurement/Pricing teams to present the latest market conditions in Ocean and Airfreight logistics. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, International Trade, Maritime Studies, Operations Research, Supply Chain or Logistics Management. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in market intelligence, strategic analysis, or business planning within the global logistics, shipping, or airfreight industry. Prior experience in a global freight forwarding company, with proven expertise in market trend analysis and strategy development. Strong understanding of logistics market dynamics, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Skilled in interpreting logistics indexes and managing data for market insights and analysis. Financially savvy, with the ability to assess cost structures and ROI for logistics operations. Excellent analytical, research, and data reporting capabilities. Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is advantageous. Proactive and analytical mindset, capable of identifying issues and driving resolutions independently. Goal-oriented thinker with the ability to conceptualize and deliver on strategic objectives. Self-driven and hands-on approach, capable of seizing opportunities and achieving measurable outcomes. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to high standards. Demonstrates high integrity, ownership, and accountability in professional responsibilities.
