Job Role Overview
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of trade, position, and cash reconciliations across APAC markets. As an expert in listed derivatives operations, you will be responsible for daily reconciliation activities, including performing trade, position, and cash reconciliations across multiple APAC exchanges and clearing houses.
This involves investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks in a timely and accurate manner. You will liaise with internal teams and external parties to resolve discrepancies and ensure all reconciliations are completed within market deadlines and internal SLAs.
To excel in this role, you must maintain accurate records of reconciliation outcomes and break resolutions, escalate unresolved issues and aged breaks to management with appropriate commentary, and monitor and enhance reconciliation controls to mitigate operational risk.
Key Responsibilities
  • Daily reconciliation activities, including trade, position, and cash reconciliations.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external parties to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate records of reconciliation outcomes and break resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A Strong Background in Listed Derivatives Operations
This includes 5+ years of experience in listed derivatives operations, with a focus on reconciliations. You should also have proficiency in reconciliation tools and systems.
Analytical and Communication Skills
You must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Regional Expertise and Collaboration
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of APAC market-specific nuances and be able to collaborate with regional teams. They should also be willing to participate in regional projects and initiatives impacting listed derivatives operations.
