Job Title: Reconciliation Specialist

As a Reconciliation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconciliation and Balancing: Perform daily reconciliation and balancing for various financial products, including Deposits, Cards, and Unsecured Loans, to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
  • Discrepancy Identification and Resolution: Identify discrepancies in financial reports and transaction records, investigate and resolve reconciliation issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Escalation and Process Improvement: Escalate any unresolved issues or exceptions to the Team Manager for further action and apply knowledge gained to propose and implement ideas for reducing manual processes and improving operational efficiency.
  • Support and Maintenance: Assist and support the Team Manager/Leader in system enhancements, process improvements, and any other projects related to reconciliation processes, and maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and consistency across the reconciliation processes.
Requirements:
  • A diploma or higher education is preferred, though relevant banking reconciliation experience will also be considered.
  • 1-2 years of experience in banking reconciliations is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and handle high-volume tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with banking systems and reconciliation tools is an advantage.
