Operational Excellence Specialist

This role involves performing reconciliations between internal systems or external stakeholders. You will be responsible for reviewing and resolving discrepancies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, and analyzing data to optimize operational efficiency.

About the Role:

You will have a strong understanding of financial instruments, 5-7 years of experience in reconciliation, and technical skills in Microsoft Excel and programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, or SQL.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and working experience in the Hedge Fund industry.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, who is driven, inquisitive, and entrepreneurial with excellent interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform T+1 reconciliations and break resolution between internal systems or internal systems and Prime Broker
  • Review external fund administrators' T+1 reconciliations and liaise with stakeholders to resolve breaks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues, automate processes, and implement strategic initiatives
  • Work with senior team members and management to implement enhancements and streamline workflows
