Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support for data centre operations and critical facilities around the clock.
  • Monitor building management systems for all Data Centre Facilities infrastructure to ensure continuity and normal function of systems including UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensors, etc.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for onsite operational incidents. Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Manage user requests, incidents, changes, problems, and provisioning through a web-based ticketing system.
  • Ensure effective implementation of data centre safety, security, and customer support policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in facilities management or a similar role is required.
  • An ITE/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Management System, or Facilities Management is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including UPS, cooling tower, pump, and chiller systems, is necessary.
  • Experience with building management systems, mechanical (ACMV), electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of industry standards is required.
  • Good MS office skills and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work rotating shifts from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am, including weekends and public holidays, is required.
