Business Development Manager, Mobility, East Asia & India Join to apply for the Business Development Mgr, Mobility, East Asia & India role at Gates Corporation Overview Join to apply for the Business Development Mgr, Mobility, East Asia & India role at Gates Corporation Responsibilities Act as self-managed Business Development Manager to identify and execute growth opportunities, in coordination with the global Mobility team. Support existing customer, while working to expand sales on new applications. Conduct difficult negotiations with customers, explaining complex and sensitive information; works to build consensus. Coach regional sales team to expand competencies and win customer projects; Champion and lead global opportunity pipeline. Recommend product and market strategies to expand Gates position. May require domestic and international travel for customer support (35%+). Key to Success Passion and familiarity with bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, ATV and snowmobiles Strong contacts within the industry of the assigned mobility market segments; including customers, suppliers, partners, and major distributors. Strong English written and verbal communication; strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize resources and project timelines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Requirements And Preferred Skills BS or BA; Engineering a plus; 5 years BD experience Passion and familiarity with bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, ATV and snowmobiles Strong contacts within the industry of the assigned mobility market segments; including customers, suppliers, partners, and major distributors.
