Overview
The Regional Finance Manager oversees financial operations across Australia, Singapore, and North Asia, providing leadership in accounts payable/receivable management while ensuring compliance with corporate KPIs. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budget preparation, and forecast analysis, maintaining variance control of ±5%. The position requires establishing effective controls, supporting audit activities, and driving continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities
Lead the finance team for Australia, Singapore and North Asia markets (and any other assigned markets), providing direction and driving solutions for complex day-to-day financial operations.
Lead and review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to achieve corporate AP and AR KPIs.
Drive continuous improvements in AP and AR workflows; set SOPs or guidelines for future workflow.
Review accruals of all cost categories for Australia, Singapore and North Asia markets (and any other assigned markets).
Review Annual Budget preparation, Quarterly Forecast and monthly variances analysis with control variation of ±5% for quarterly forecasts.
Engage with stakeholders to resolve audit queries; participate in assurance activities.
Establish and monitor controls to mitigate non-compliant findings in finance processes.
Provide accurate and timely financial information to all stakeholders.
Ensure appropriate process and system controls are in place to guarantee transaction integrity and keep financial reporting audit-ready.
Drive continuous process improvements to ensure updated financial processes across contracts.
Manage, train, and develop finance staff; ensure effective data extraction and reporting capabilities for internal and external stakeholders.
People Management
Ensure all finance staff are well trained on financial systems and can extract data effectively.
Communicate effectively to manage stakeholders and build relationships with clients internally and externally.
Requirements for the Role
Skills

Experience
Extensive experience in the Finance Function across Singapore and other relevant markets, preferably with regional exposure.
Strong understanding of regulatory/statutory requirements and governance principles/SOX.
Experience with workflow and process control implementations.
Business partnering and commercial finance experience.
Qualifications
MBA, Master or other Finance/Business qualification
