Our client is an established asset manager with offices in Singapore and Australia. We manage more than $400 million of assets on behalf of leading institutions, foundations, family offices, and individuals. About the role We have experienced an exciting period of growth and are looking to invest in the most promising companies in the Asia‐Pacific region. To support this, we are building a dedicated investor relations function to grow our limited‐partner base and nurture long‐term relationships with existing partners. This Investor Relations Associate will work alongside firm leadership to support capital‐formation efforts and investor‐relation coverage for our core strategies. The role is highly external‐facing, requiring low‐ego, high‐integrity, grit, and a "get‐it‐done" attitude, as well as the ability to communicate the firm's mission and vision. Role Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with private wealth managers, family offices, and institutional investors to support the growth of assets under management. Assist core leadership with investor‐facing communications and develop systems/processes that position the firm as an investment firm of choice. Act as a driving force in the origination and prospecting of new limited‐partner relationships. Participate as a key member in fundraising programs such as deal‐specific fundraising or separate institutional mandates. Collaborate with team and suppliers to ensure existing limited partners have high satisfaction levels of services (investor reporting, access to information, etc.). Communicate and manage relationships with existing and prospective investors, providing input on regular investor updates. Handle inbound investor inquiries and coordinate with business unit heads when further information or due diligence is required. What We're Looking For 2–5+ years of professional experience in a fast‐paced institutional sales/distribution/capital‐formation role, with a strong preference for candidates who have a track record of raising meaningful capital. Preference for wholesale/family‐office relationships; institutional relationships are also favorable. Strong track record of distributing or managing investment products, preferably alternative investments. Experience as a foundational team member at an investment firm, particularly with setting up initial systems and processes. Ability to work independently to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality of work. Hands‐on self‐starter with a can‐do attitude, able to work autonomously and eager to take on tasks of any scale. A strong desire to integrate with the technology and startup community across the broader Asia‐Pacific region.
