Job Title: Chef de Partie
Job DescriptionAs a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in the success of our kitchen team. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and execute Western cuisine dishes with consistent quality and excellent presentation standards.
- Prepare and execute high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations.
- Maintain accurate mise en place and ensure it is completed on time before operating hours.
- Ensure proper portion control, stock rotation, and reduce food wastage.
- Assist the Head Chef to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety standards are strictly adhered to safety protocol (e.g., HACCP).
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff.
- Assist the Head Chef on new menu items and contribute ideas for improvement.
- Report any kitchen equipment maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
To be successful as a Chef de Partie, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as a CDP or Demi Chef in Western cuisine (e.g., bistro, steakhouse, Italian, modern European).
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Possess a valid food hygiene certificate.
