National Accounts Systems Engineer Lead

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced National Accounts Systems Engineer Lead to join our team at Johnson Controls. This role will provide sales support to the engineering and sales team, conducting engineering design and processes and/or financial analysis during project development.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of application engineering teams, providing configuration, enhancement, and support for technical documentation and presentations to clients.
- Customization and introduction of new features to Metasys software and in-house developed applications based on end-user requirements.
- Design and construction of new applications tailored to meet customer specifications and needs.
- Guidance of application engineers in writing and executing tests on complex programming, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and supporting product launches.
- Technical support and troubleshooting of application issues while performing tests on complex programming and assisting in product launches.
- Assistance to the application manager in process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaboration with system integrators (SI) to monitor their performance with quality assurance/quality control checks and ensure completion sign-off.
- Management of vendor relationships, including scoping application services and reviewing deliverables.
- Collaboration as part of a design, engineering, and operations team.
- Awareness of ACMV and controls associated with Johnson Controls Metasys will be advantageous.
- Deliver customer support by responding to technical queries with detailed analyses of building management systems, tooling costs, and design/process improvements to meet all customer needs.
- Collaboration with engineering, sales, and operations teams to understand standard fabrication techniques, composite materials, and customer demands to develop design details.
- Creation and presentation of technical engineering information based on customer proposals, including 3D representations of products and tooling.
- Preparation of cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, customer documents, and consulting with engineers and technical personnel.
- Conducting conceptual designs of composite components and assemblies to support proposals.
- Generation of accurate CAD models of components and assemblies.
- Development of detailed bills of materials for proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Access, Intrusion, and Video Management systems.
- Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to efficiently articulate technical subject matter.
- Good communication skills, with an ability to express and understand complex technical concepts.
- Experience of working with globally distributed teams & matrixed environment.
