Job Title: Infrastructure Project Coordinator

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project construction schedules, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Develop project timelines, coordinate with teams, and ensure timely progress updates.
  • Monitor project activities, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for consultants and clients, highlighting key milestones and achievements.
  • Analyze project specifications, including civil/structural, architectural, and M&E drawings, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, documenting observations and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to established safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform administrative duties related to the project, as assigned by senior management.
  • Coordinate site inspections with the Resident Engineer (RE) and Resident Technical Officer (RTO).
  • Organize regular toolbox meetings with the Site Supervisor and WSH Coordinator, providing briefings on site activities and tasks.
  • Work closely with the Site Supervisor to coordinate daily site activities.
  • Attend monthly and weekly safety meetings, as well as site discussions with the client.
  • Prepare necessary project submissions, such as RFIs, Method Statements (MS), Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), shop drawings, and other supporting documents.
  • Manage project documentation, including records and summaries, to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  • Oversee emergency defect recovery work on Sundays and Public Holidays, providing status updates in the client's chat group.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is mandatory.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the infrastructural or marine construction industry is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience with dredging, reclamation, or nearshore construction projects is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and BCA regulations is essential.
  • Ability to commute daily by sea to the island worksite is required.
  • Flexibility to work on Sundays or Public Holidays as needed for emergency recovery work is mandatory.
  • Ability to support multiple projects as needed is an added advantage.
  • Ownership of a personal vehicle is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
