Senior Cytologist Position

The senior cytologist will be responsible for leading the cytology department in a strategic and directive manner.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a degree in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry or relevant qualifications along with 5-6 years of experience in cytology.

The successful individual will oversee the technical operations of the cytology department, ensuring seamless management and supervision of cytology staff. This involves preparing stains, mounting slides, and microscopically examining cells to detect cancer, hormonal abnormalities, and other pathological conditions.

Furthermore, the candidate will perform specialized and complex testing that entails microscopic screening and evaluation of gynaecological and non-gynaecological specimens.
