Senior Project Director Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager/Senior Construction Manager to lead our construction projects and ensure their successful completion.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, site management, and risk control. He/she should be able to plan, schedule, and track projects efficiently, while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Lead the construction planning and scheduling process, ensuring that all projects meet their deadlines.

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor and manage day-to-day operations, including developing short and long-range goals or objectives.

  • Supervise and monitor site labor forces, ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently.

  • Plan and organize site facilities to meet agreed-upon deadlines.

  • Attend regular meetings with clients' representatives, consultants, and contractors to ensure progress on schedule.

  • Monitor construction rates and costs, submitting regular progress reports with recommendations for improvement.

  • Oversight of quality control and safety matters on-site, ensuring Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all times.

  • IDentification of high-risk safety hazards and development of method statements to mitigate them.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.

  • At least 8 years of experience in a related field.
