Quantum Photonics Research Specialist
The role involves leading-edge research in quantum photonics, focusing on developing critical components for photonic quantum information processing. Key objectives include designing and fabricating integrated photonic devices, as well as performing optical and microwave characterization of these devices.
- Research Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and characterize integrated photonic devices
- Develop and maintain fabrication processes for the mentioned devices
- Perform comprehensive analysis of optical and microwave properties of integrated photonic devices
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster innovation and knowledge sharing within the team
- Publications and Presentations: Regularly contribute to scientific literature by publishing reports, giving presentations, and authoring manuscripts that highlight the team's research achievements
Requirements:
- Hold a Ph.D. degree (completed or soon to be completed) in Physics, Applied Physics, Material Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant fields
- Strong background in nano/micro-fabrication techniques and programming skills (e.g., Python, Matlab)
