Role Overview
We seek a motivated Research Fellow to work on quantum photonics projects. The main goal is to develop critical components for photonic quantum information processing.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and fabricate integrated photonic devices using lithium niobate thin-film material.
- Develop and maintain fabrication processes for high-quality device components.
- Perform thorough optical and microwave characterization of integrated photonic devices.
- Assist in mentoring graduate students as part of the research team.
- Promote research outcomes through regular reports, presentations, and publications.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Assistant Professor Di ZHU's group at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore (NUS).
Technical Requirements:Lithium Niobate Thin-Film Fabrication: Experience in designing, fabricating, and characterizing photonic devices based on lithium niobate thin films.
Fabrication Process Development: Strong understanding of microfabrication techniques, including lithography, etching, and deposition.
Optical and Microwave Characterization: Proficiency in performing advanced optical and microwave measurements, such as spectroscopy and interferometry.
Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with graduate students and other researchers.
