Research Fellow in Quantum Photonics

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable research fellow to contribute to the development of integrated quantum photonics.
The project involves designing, fabricating, and characterizing integrated photonic devices, including on-chip photon-pair and squeezed-light sources, electro-optic modulators, and integrated single-photon detectors.
- Design and develop integrated photonic devices for quantum information processing
- Develop and maintain fabrication processes for photonic components
- Perform optical and microwave characterization of integrated photonic devices to optimize their performance
- Collaborate with graduate students to advance their skills in quantum photonics
- Regularly disseminate research results through reports, presentations, and manuscripts to share findings and insights
- Ph.D. degree (completed or soon to be completed) in Physics, Applied Physics, Material Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant fields
- Experience in nano/micro-fabrication techniques and tools
- Programming skills, such as Python and Matlab, for data analysis and device modeling
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and mentors
