Main Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and evaluate conferences across various academic fields;
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform improved marketing strategies and decision-making;
  • Assist in creating marketing content, including social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials;
  • Manage the company's social media channels, including content creation, community engagement, and tracking metrics;
  • Conceptualize and manage online and offline workshops, webinars, and conferences;
  • Support corporate events like author training in leading universities and institutions in Southeast Asia;
  • Represent the company at academic conferences held in Southeast Asia and set up booths on site;
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY ACADEMIC SCHOLARS AND MEDIA IN SOUTHEAST ASIA;
  • Handle incoming inquiries about all services offered by the company;
  • Provide administrative support for databases and logistics involved in client outreach and promotional activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree majoring in marketing or business-related field;
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Team player with the ability to work in a dynamic, international environment;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Good communication and coordination skills;
  • Professional experience in academic publishing, exhibition planning, or strategy development is an advantage;
  • Digital marketing skills are an asset.

The Employer:

Our client is a pioneer publisher established in February 2021, focusing on open access journals. Leveraging Singapore's status as a global business and technology hub, our Singapore office collaborates closely with offices in China, Tokyo, and Thailand to develop further collaboration with the scientific community in the Asia-Pacific area.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is SGD 4,000 - 5,500 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
