Our company is seeking a talented Software Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining COBOL-based applications in a multicultural environment.

Mandatory Skills:
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in COBOL and Pro*C programming languages;
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field;
  • Hands-on expertise in Micro Focus COBOL, C, Pro*C, Shell scripting, SQL/PL-SQL, GitLab, and Oracle databases;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, as well as analytical and organizational abilities;
  • A proactive and autonomous individual with experience in LEAN environments.
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD implementation, MQ, and CFT technologies;
  • A general understanding of the banking industry;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • An interest in learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends;
  • An appreciation for cultural diversity and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and update COBOL software solutions to meet business requirements;
  • Analyze functional requirements and prepare technical specifications for system components;
  • Code, test, validate, and implement system components in accordance with industry standards;
  • Draft technical designs, unit tests, peer reviews, and integration documents to ensure delivery quality;
  • Provide Level 3 production support and resolve escalated issues in a timely manner;
  • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals;
  • Participate in technical discussions and propose best-practice solutions to improve system performance;
  • Ensure delivery quality across all assigned projects and tasks, meeting deadlines and expectations.
