**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Application Development**
- Ensure compliance with security coding practices to mitigate common vulnerabilities.

**Collaboration and Leadership**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, stakeholders, business analysts, and end-users, to define, design, and ship new features.
- Lead and mentor a small team of developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and notify technical architects and project managers of any issues.
- Technical Documentation and Testing:

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, specifications, and testing documentation.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Address defects and performance issues identified during testing.

**Continuous Improvement and Support**:

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends.
- Investigate alternatives and technologies for architectural review and present recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation and production of software component releases.

**Top 3 Core Skills**:
**AS400 RPG & COBOL**:Proficiency in AS400 RPG and COBOL programming languages.

**ALBON, SQL, and DB2**:Strong expertise in ALBON, SQL, and DB2 database management systems.

**Optional/Good-to-Have Skills**:

- Experience or knowledge of AS400 technologies.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal assistance.
- Previous software development/programming experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills to break down complex problems into manageable solutions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
