About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled COBOL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining AS400 COBOL applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance AS400 COBOL applications
  • Manage stakeholders and coordinate with other IT teams to achieve business objectives
  • Work effectively in the Banking Domain with knowledge of Trade Finance/Loan processes
  • Lead multiple projects and tasks concurrently, prioritizing deadlines and quality
  • Apply project management and development SDLC principles to ensure successful delivery
  • Lead a development team size of at least 2-3 members, providing guidance and mentorship

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in COBOL programming
  • Strong knowledge of AS400 systems
  • Familiarity with Consumer loans and Core Banking systems
  • Excellent team spirit and leadership skills
  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of Information Technology and Trade Finance principles
