Position Overview
As a vital member of the Sales & Marketing division within AIA Corporate Solutions, this role focuses on driving renewal growth through proactive management of established corporate accounts in collaboration with the Financial Service Consultant (FSC).- Achieve renewal growth objectives set for the Agency Channel along with other key performance metrics as outlined by the organization;
- Build and sustain robust business relationships with AIA Financial Services Consultants (FSCs) and their Agency Leaders to maintain and expand existing corporate insurance accounts;
- Proactively schedule and conduct meetings with Agency Leaders/FSCs during their regular agency gatherings;
- Maintain discipline in providing timely and precise renewal status updates and growth data for management reporting and sales forecasting;
- Deliver timely renewal terms or sales proposals for new coverage lines to FSCs for their current accounts, adhering to business acceptance, risk management, and underwriting profitability guidelines;
- Ensure accurate and prompt submission of renewal employee data, including billing documentation, while coordinating with internal operations to address servicing and operational issues;
- Follow up on outstanding premium collections to ensure compliance with internal credit control policies;
- Effectively pitch and present corporate sales jointly with FSCs, and support Employee Communication Sessions for employees of existing corporate clients;
- Participate in scheduled sales training and professional development courses to enhance sales capabilities and fulfill mandatory CPD hours for compliance;
- Undertake additional projects as assigned, including product/service enhancements and market analysis;
- This position will be located at designated AIA Agency Locations.
Candidate Qualifications
- Tertiary degree or diploma or equivalent industry qualifications;
- Candidates with CMFAS M5, M9, HI, BCP, PGI, and ComGI certifications will be preferred;
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the Employee Benefits / Group Insurance sector;
- Strong understanding of Life and Health insurance products;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail;
- Capable of working confidently in challenging situations;
- Proactive, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision;
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure and deadlines;
- Able to foresee potential challenges and know when to seek assistance;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong negotiation skills, resourceful, and determined in problem-solving;
- Professional in appearance and demeanor, comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders;
- Meticulous, service-oriented, and a team player;
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities.
