Affiliate Restructurer

Description:

We are seeking an Affiliate Restructurer to join our team. As a key member of our restructuring department, you will be responsible for assisting in the administration of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements.

The role involves working on various aspects of insolvency and restructuring, including liquidation, receivership, judicial management, scheme of arrangement, monitoring / special accountant, and debt restructuring. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of letters, notices, emails, and reports
  • Taking control of business premises and assets, followed by realisation
  • Gathering information from books/records of clients and third parties
  • Indexing and safekeeping of books and records
  • Recovery of debts
  • Adjudication of creditors' claims
  • Investigation of past transactions
  • Assisting in the financial review and preparation of restructuring proposals
  • Attending meetings and preparation of minutes of meetings

You will work closely with our supervisors to clarify issues/problems and communicate effectively.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Accountancy, Law, or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA
  • Entry-level candidates with less than 2 years of experience in corporate insolvency and/or external audit, or candidates with 2-3 years of relevant experience for the Senior position
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and construct solutions
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
  • A strong team player
