Procurement Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Procurement Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning the sourcing of goods and services to align with manufacturing, field operations, technology, or project management strategic plans at the plant level.
Your responsibilities will include complying with and executing Category Management strategies following established policies and procedures. This will involve issuing purchase orders in response to material requirements, implementing agreements for local procurement, and creating request for quotations (RFQ).
You will also be responsible for organizing competitive biddings from various suppliers to ensure the best quality, delivery, and price for goods and services, while also assessing supplier performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or production environment
- Advanced procurement certification such as CPM (or similar) preferred
