Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely and organized manner.

  • Loading and unloading of incoming goods using forklift equipment, pallet trucks, and stackers
  • Unpacking, inspecting, and stocking of incoming goods into store and updating inventory records
  • Issuing components with pick lists from Production, adhering to quality control standards
  • Maintaining efficient storage space allocation and organization
  • Maintaining good housekeeping practices within the warehouse
  • Raising purchase requisitions for consumables and materials
  • Performing close liaison with other disciplines within logistics and other departments through effective communication
  • Preparing batteries for recharging when shelf-life has expired, ensuring optimal performance
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are achieved on an ongoing basis and actively promoting individual responsibility for workplace safety
  • Performing daily tasks as administered by the supervisor, maintaining flexibility and adaptability
  • Arranging maintenance of forklifts, pallet trucks, and material handling tools to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime
  • Ensuring stock accuracy is maintained at specified levels, proactively addressing potential or actual shortages
  • Issuing goods on time for production and service departments, meeting delivery schedules
  • Packing outgoing goods efficiently, adhering to packaging guidelines
