Job Description

As a Metrology Process Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative Metrology techniques and equipment to measure critical process metrics and close inline detection gaps. The goal of this position is to accelerate cycles of learning by developing innovative solutions for detecting in line yield and process limiting issues.

This role will provide the opportunity for you to collaborate with engineers in process integration, process development, data science, metrology, RDA, and yield analysis within and outside Technology Development. Your ideas will have the ability to impact the team globally.

You will be responsible for evaluations of new metrology equipment, recipe optimization, and collaboration with vendor teams to drive metrology roadmaps.

  • Collaborate with the global network to develop best known methods and maintain alignment between sites.
  • We expect active participation in technical meetings and then synthesize from them new opportunities or novel approaches.
  • Develop metrology roadmaps to drive our internal and external partners enabling a clear path to future advanced memory needs.

  • Proactive and eager about learning and sharing of new metrology technologies, ability to innovate and drive effective changes in an energizing environment.

  • We need someone who will investigate process anomalies, root cause analysis, data manipulation, and correlations.
