Job Description:

In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the innovation and development of cutting-edge 3D NAND process technologies. Collaborating closely with our technology partners and vendors, you will work within a multi-functional team to develop and optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing Scattered-Electron-Microscope (SEM) metrology models to drive the understanding of new metrology technology and measurement techniques in 3D NAND technology.
  • Own applications and develop processes for new nodes, leveraging your analytical skills to identify and provide solutions for inline detection in collaboration with process engineer and process integration.
  • Collaborate with HVM Metro team on technology choices for upcoming nodes, translating future technology device needs into clear equipment roadmap requirements.
  • Maintain Model-on-record (MOR) accuracy to enable successful technology ramp, influencing supplier equipment roadmap to enable new technology development in Micron.
Requirements:

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Material Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with electron microscopy techniques, materials characterization, and data analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of operating and troubleshooting SEM, AFM, and other analytical tools.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills:

A strong foundation in semiconductor device fabrication and characterization is a plus. Additionally, knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation, as well as familiarity with data science and machine learning, can further enhance your prospects in this role.
