Job Title: Financial Support Specialist
\We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Financial Support Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping, and assisting with various administrative and financial tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Kingdee). Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data entry of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents into accounting software
- Prepare and process payments, bank deposits, and journal entries
- Support in reconciling bank statements and vendor accounts
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and financial statements
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries related to accounts and payments
- File and organize financial documents in compliance with company policies
- Support the Finance Manager and team with ad hoc financial tasks and projects
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Chinese language proficiency is mandatory (spoken and written)
