Job Opportunity: Financial Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Financial Support Specialist. This position will provide administrative support to our finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day accounting and financial activities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications. They will also demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations. You will also assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

To succeed in this position, you will need to be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You will also need to be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Process and manage incoming and outgoing payments, invoices, and other financial documents.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Ensure that all bank accounts are accurately reconciled on a monthly basis.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation, including ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
