We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager Precontracts to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient and effective management of commercial and contractual activities during the new business and tendering stages for allocated tenders.
Key Responsibilities- Analyzing and identifying commercial, business, and contractual risks that may arise during the pre-contract tendering and joint venture development stage.
- Conducting tender commercial risk reviews and ensuring compliance with our company's procedures and corporate governance requirements.
- Collaborating with Bid Managers, New Business & Strategy, and other relevant personnel to develop commercial strategies and frameworks involving partner selection and tenders.
- Working with the New Business and Strategy Team to develop strategic, commercial, and contractual responses to tenders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Sound understanding of construction contracts and ancillary contracts such as Joint Venture Agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze contractual and legal issues and provide solutions through appropriate problem-solving techniques.
- Sound commercial acumen accompanied by proven negotiation and inter-relationship skills.
- Able to quickly grasp concepts and apply innovative options to the status quo.
- Clear and definitive communication – written and verbal accompanied by competent presentation ability.
- Ability to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
- Use of good verbal communication skills with both external and internal customers and business partners.
- Demonstrate and effect a desire to help people.
- Display a positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
- Provide attention to detail.
