Job Description:

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of responsibility are met. You will be responsible for maintaining effective communication between departments and utilizing manpower effectively by delegating tasks. Additionally, you will develop standard procedures for daily activities, regularly inspect work being performed, and supervise, guide, schedule, discipline, and evaluate staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting quota of rooms weekly
  • Inspecting public areas daily
  • Periodically conducting physical inventories to ensure par stock for items
  • Supervising the laundry and periodically reviewing laundry procedures
Requirements:

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 8-10 years of housekeeping experience, including 2-3 years of management experience. A diploma in housekeeping services from a recognized institution is also required. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of housekeeping functions in a hospitality environment, management and leadership skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
