Operations Control Coordinator


Job Summary:

This is a pivotal role that oversees the smooth operation of key functions within our organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage real-time ground situations at strategic points via CCTV, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Process porter service requests and ensure timely fulfillment by operations supervisors.
  • Coordinate overall, trolley, taxi, and porter operations effectively.
  • Act as liaison between duty manager and terminal manager during extraordinary operational matters.
  • Assist in incident/accident investigations by extracting CCTV footage.
  • Provide administrative support to duty ops manager when required.

Trolley Operations:
  • Monitor supply and demand of trolleys using associated systems.
  • Perform routine checks as stipulated in SOPs.
  • Activate operations supervisor for trolley replenishment or clearing unused trolleys.
  • Provide regular updates on trolley levels at designated locations.
  • Report incidents related to trolley operations to operations supervisor.

Taxi Operations:
  • Monitor supply and demand of taxis using associated systems.
  • Activate taxi supply, including phone calls to operators and urgent calls.
  • Ensure terminal workstations and TMS areas function correctly.
  • Observe and report passenger queue status.
  • Plan taxi supplies and coordinate administration tasks.

Periodic Duties:
  • Generate service utilization reports.
  • Cover operations supervisor's duties as assigned.
  • Cover duty manager's coordination duties in their absence.

Job Specifications:
  • Diploma in Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in quality/operations functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Confidence in managing stakeholders in TMC.
  • Adaptable to change and a good team player.
