Physiotherapist - Islandwide

The ideal candidate will play a key role in assessing, planning, and delivering physiotherapy interventions to elderly clients, promoting mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for elderly clients with various physical conditions, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and client goals, supervising and mentoring junior physiotherapists and therapy assistants, collaborating with occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care, monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, educating clients and caregivers on home exercises, fall prevention, and mobility aids, and participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to program development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution is required. Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore, is also necessary.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in geriatric or community rehabilitation, is preferred.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • A passion for working with the elderly and promoting active aging is highly desirable.
