Advanced Semiconductor Engineer

This role involves performing in-depth analysis of semiconductor fabrication processes to identify and resolve defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, microelectronics, or circuit design, with experience in probe testing, failure analysis, and root cause investigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) and Fault Isolation
  • Operate advanced tools for photon, thermal, or laser stimulation emission
  • Characterize or model Probe test and internal qualification fail signatures
  • Extensive understanding of physical and logical semi-conductor design
  • Use layout/schematic to aid in fault isolation and fail signature modeling
  • Understand various Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) and de-processing techniques for failures
  • Understanding Fabrication Process and Package Assembly
  • In depth understanding of process fabrication levels, steps, and methodologies
  • Provide Clear and Comprehensive Fail Signature Information
  • Generate organized and timely failure analysis reports with clearly communicated causes and effects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering with preferred in Microelectronics or Circuit Design
  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
  • Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
  • Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry is preferred
