Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our organization's efforts in strategic planning and execution. As Managing Director, Japanese, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that drive performance improvement and oversee administration and management.

  • Drive the development and implementation of strategic plans that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the efficient use of management resources, ensuring effective implementation and furtherance of organizational initiatives.
  • Promote profitable growth through sound relationship-building with customers and other business connections.
  • Establish a framework for bank-wide cooperation, fostering collaboration and discipline within the office.
  • Manage overall administrative affairs, enforcing regulations and instructions from the Global Banking Unit.
  • Develop subordinate education and training plans, guiding performance and handling personnel matters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from a reputable university.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • At least 15 years of banking and finance experience, with 10+ years in Corporate Banking.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Ability to balance profits and resources effectively.
  • Strategic and creative thinking essential.
  • Compliance-focused mindset necessary.
  • Proficiency in Japanese language advantageous for regular communication with Japan-based teams.
